Plano Metropolitan Ballet (PMB) is a non-profit ballet company in Plano, Texas that performs an original fairy tale ballet every year. Founded in 1987, PMB is under the artistic direction of Cindi Lawrence Hanson, who has led the company since 1998. Dancers train at Gotta Dance studio in Plano.
PMB also performs at many community events and festivals and is the host of the annual Plano Dance Festival (recently renamed Dance Plano!), a showcase of professional dancers from performing companies and studios throughout the Dallas metroplex.
For four consecutive years, and then again in 2023, Plano Metropolitan Ballet has been voted “Best Way to Get Artsy in Plano” by Plano Magazine readers.

Where: The Cambria Hotel, 7500 Parkwood Blvd., Plano, TX 75024
When: 6:00 – 8:30 PM, Saturday, November 9th
Expect a night of dancing, French sweets, pictures, a silent auction, ballet trivia and fun.
Tickets will be $40 each. Please make your purchase by Wednesday, November 9th, so that we can get a headcount for the hotel. Tickets will be available at the door, but will be $45 each.
Remember, the event is a fundraiser for our 501(c)(3) organization, and it’s a wonderful way to support our dance family! You can pay cash (exact change please), Venmo, or check written to PMB. You can drop the check and cash off at the studio.

Courtyard Theater The Courtyard Theater is a 321-seat theater located in historic downtown Plano on 1509 Avenue H (map). With its large stage and spacious lobby, the theater is the home of Plano Metropolitan Ballet’s annual performances and was voted “Best Event Venue” by Plano Magazine readers in 2019.
Downtown Plano holds something for everyone. Unique stores and boutiques line the brick street. In addition to shopping, you can stop for a bite to eat at one of the many eateries.
