In 2022, thirty-five years into its rich history, Plano Metropolitan Ballet added a performance group comprised of adult dancers.

The founding company was comprised of 6 dancers who had studied together for at least five years at Gotta Dance, the official school of PMB. These experienced ballet dancers ranged in age from 31 to 50+ with extensive dance background. Balancing time between family and careers, they each dedicated 3 days each week to taking ballet class and rehearsing. Over time the group has grown to include more dancers from the Gotta Dance community.

Generations' inaugural performance was “Voices”, a presentation on social issues on December 4, 2022, at Frisco Discovery Center. They have also performed at Dickens in Downtown Plano, local area retirement homes, and more!
