In 2006, the Junior Company division of Plano Metropolitan Ballet was formed. Developed for dancers ages 8 to 12 with a strong interest in pursuing ballet, Junior Company members must audition in order to join. Junior Company puts on a short fairy tale ballet of their own every year during Junior Company Jubilee. They also have performance opportunities at Plano Dance Festival, Dickens in Downtown Plano, outreach peformances at area retirement homes, and more.
